CDC’s Tips From Former Smokers Campaign® has shared the stories of 45 former smokers and their experiences as a result of smoking. This campaign has led to over 1 million people to quit smoking. Tips® materials have been utilized by local health departments across the country, including Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, who utilized Tips® materials to enhance their tobacco campaign.
