Please join the American Lung Association on Tuesday, July 16 at 2pm ET for a new webcast, Medicaid Coverage of Pediatric Tobacco Cessation Treatment. This webcast will discuss what cessation treatments state Medicaid programs cover for youth, strategies to address challenges to that coverage, lessons learned from states and what information is needed to address gaps in coverage. We will hear from a Michigan-based practicing pediatrician, the Vermont tobacco control program and the North Dakota Medicaid Pharmacy Department on their challenges to coverage and lessons learned for states that are working on this issue.
