The National Association of Chronic Disease Directors’ National Disability Inclusion Network is pleased to partner with the Lakeshore Foundation to offer the Including People With Disabilities: A Training Series For Tobacco Control and Cancer Prevention Professionals.

The second webinar in the series, ‘Partnering for Inclusion’, will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 2:00pm. This training will focus on introducing tobacco control and cancer prevention professionals to fundamental concepts and strategies for partnering with people with disabilities.

By the end of this webinar, participants will:
• Build communication skills to partner with people with disabilities.
• Describe the different types of disability-led and disability-serving organizations.
• Identify current disability-led and disability serving organizations, understand the work they do, and how to connect with them.
• Understand how tobacco control and cancer prevention professionals can partner with disability organizations to ensure their program activities are inclusive of people with disabilities.
