Overview:

Numerous reports in the medical literature have noted a “paradox of lower COVID prevalence and mortality among smokers”.  Is this a myth or fact?

We will explore the controversies surrounding the relationship between COVID and cigarette smoking.

Will also examine the pathogenesis of chronic lung disease among COVID + smokers and discuss briefly the frequency of COVID symptoms in COVID + vapers.

Goals & Objectives:

To clarify smoking related COVID risk and morbidity.

To identify possible chronic lung disorders related to COVID in those who smoke
