This webinar from the American Academy of Pediatrics Richmond Center will address effective strategies, for families, physicians, and public health practitioners, to limit tobacco smoke exposure for children with asthma, cystic fibrosis, and other respiratory ailments. The Through with Chew Week Toolkit was designed for Wyoming Tobacco-Free Community Program Managers to enhance their efforts in conducting a successful Through With Chew Week and Great American Spit Out. Kick Butts Day

The Campaign for Tobacco-Free Kids is planning for the best and biggest Kick Butts Day yet. Kick Butts Day is a national day of activism that empowers youth to stand out, speak up and seize control against Big Tobacco. Teachers, youth leaders, and health advocates can organize events to raise awareness of the tobacco problem, encourage youth to stay tobacco-free, and urge strong action to protect kids from tobacco. The Kick Butts Day website, www.kickbuttsday.org, has been redesigned to make it even easier to participate in Kick Butts Day. The site includes step-by-step directions to plan a Kick Butts Day event or activity, register an event (so that CTFK can help promote it) and apply for a grant for an event, as well as new information to make the KBD website a year-round resource for youth advocates fighting tobacco.
