Meeting of the Tobacco Constituents Subcommittee of the Tobacco Products Scientific Advisory Committee
June 8-9, 2010

At this meeting, the Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Tobacco Constituents Subcommittee will be discussing the development of a list of harmful components in tobacco products. Topics will include the criteria for selection of harmful constituents, a proposed list of constituents, the rationale for inclusion of each, and analytic methods for assessing the quantity of each. Members of the public are invited to present data and views before the committee; written submission must be made by May 28. Click here to read more about the meeting.
