New Web tool: FDA and CDC content syndication
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Center for Tobacco Products (CTP) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are now offering content syndication, an application that allows tobacco control partners to provide accurate, up-to-date, science-based health information on their websites. For example, the webmaster of a local tobacco control website can opt to embed a page or section from the FDA website on their organization’s website. Whenever the FDA updates that page, the information automatically appears on the organization’s website. Content syndication is free and easy to use, and a growing list of the FDA and CDC’s webpages are available for syndication. Click here to learn more about content syndication. FDA recently held a webinar on content syndication; click here to request a copy of the presentation.
