Announcing Smoke-free policies: Establishing a smoke-free ordinance to reduce exposure to secondhand smoke in indoor worksites and public places—an action guide
Partnership for Prevention® has developed this new tool to help public health professionals maximize the beneficial impact of smoke-free laws. Earth Day—Tobacco control guide
This guide includes activities to raise awareness about cigarette litter and pollution control on Earth Day as part of a comprehensive tobacco prevention and control program.  The guide is designed to educate school and community leaders about the increasing problem of cigarette pollution and its global hazards in addition to encouraging students and community members to take action to reduce tobacco use and its pollution.  Click here for the program outline and ideas for school and community activities.
