Call for Applications: National LGBT Tobacco Control Network seeking states to participate in demonstration project
Is your state tobacco control program planning to fund LGBT-inclusive tobacco disparity work?  The National LGBT Tobacco Control Network needs you! Too often, states offer funding but don't get enough qualified LGBT groups to apply. Under a project with the American Legacy Foundation, the National LGBT Tobacco Control Network is testing models to build this bridge between funders and the LGBT community groups with expertise in this population.  If you want your state tobacco control program to increase the number or quality of your LGBT focused grantees, and plan to release an RFA between now and March 2009, please contact the National LGBT Network for consideration as one of our demonstration sites, please email us at lgbttobacco@gmail.com or call 617-927-6451.

2009 National Conference on Tobacco or Health Call for Abstracts
The National Conference on Tobacco or Health will take place June 10-12, 2009 in Phoenix, Arizona. A call for abstracts and submission instructions will be issued on the conference website in September. Abstracts will be accepted from September 2 through November 14, 2008.
