Kick Butts Day 2008

Kick Butts Day is a day of nationwide youth activism organized by Tobacco Free Kids.org with over 2000 events to get young people to “Stand Out, Speak Up, and Seize Control in the fight against tobacco.” The 2008 website is being launched in November 2007, and the activity guide is soon to follow. This conference is sponsored by National African American Tobacco Education Network (NAATEN) and the National Network on Tobacco Prevention and Poverty (NNTPP). The conference will highlight successful tobacco prevention, education, and cessation strategies that reach African American and low socioeconomic status (SES) communities.
