4th National Summit on Smokeless and Spit Tobacco – Call for Abstracts
March 4-6, 2008; Oklahoma City, OK
The 4th National Summit on Smokeless and Spit Tobacco - "Building a Firm Foundation for Tobacco Free Lives!" - will take place March 4-6, 2008 in Oklahoma City, OK. Abstract applications can be found online at www.okcspitsummit.org. Abstracts will be accepted until September 15th at 5:00 P.M. The purpose of this summit is to convene national, state and local tobacco control staff and advocates together to discuss the critical problems surrounding smokeless tobacco products, to share viable solutions that help improve the delivery and effectiveness of state and community-based tobacco control programs, and to build collaborative relationships. Presentations are being sought in each of the following program areas:
- Communication and Counter-Marketing
- Community Practice and Youth Advocacy
- Cultural Competency
- Cessation and Clinical Systems
- Policy Development and Program Planning
