American Legacy Foundation announces truth® or Consequences Youth Tobacco Prevention Grants Program
To enhance the impact of the truth® media campaign, the American Legacy Foundation is offering grant funding to support community-based tobacco prevention efforts in the 18 project states. Only projects conducted in these states will be eligible for funding. The deadline for receipt of letters of intent is September 7, 2007. Robert Wood Johnson Foundation: Call for proposals for Tobacco Policy Change
Tobacco Policy Change: A Collaborative for Healthier Communities and States provides resources and technical assistance for local, regional, and state-based organizations and tribal groups to advocate effective, sustainable policies that decrease tobacco use and exposure. This special solicitation will build on previous successes in attracting new and diverse partners whose constituencies are most directly affected by tobacco use and exposure. Grantees are expected to apply their advocacy skills and experience to advance tobacco and other public health policies in their communities.
