OSH’s STATE system updated
OSH's State
Tobacco Activities Tracking and Evaluation (STATE) System
has been updated to include new data on Advertising Restrictions,
Excise Tax, Licensure, Preemption, Smokefree Indoor Air
and Youth Access Legislation, Tobacco Agriculture data from
Economic Research Service (ERS), Demographics data from
United States Census Bureau, Federal and National Investment
data, and Cigarette Sales data.

Case Western Reserve University to establish Ohio
Tobacco and Research Center
Case Western Reserve University's Center for Health Promotion
Research, a research and evaluation center in the School
of Medicine's Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics,
recently received a $450,000 contract from the Ohio Tobacco
Use Prevention and Control Foundation (TUPCF) to develop
the Ohio Tobacco Research and Evaluation Center (OTREC).
OTREC will assist with statewide tobacco prevention and
control efforts supported by TUPCF. Click here
