Smoking Ban in Motorpool

Q: A state health department would like
to know which states have banned smoking in all motorpool
cars.
A: The following states responded that they
have banned smoking in state vehicles.
- Nebraska
- Michigan
- Nevada
- Washington; however, smoking in a state vehicle can be
authorized by the agency head as long as the vehicle is
assigned to one person and no smoking occurs while anyone
else is in it.
- North Dakota
- Oklahoma
- Alabama
- Oregon
