Q: One of your peers is looking for RFPs in the following areas:

  1. Alabama – Click here to view our RFP for the Quitline.

  2. Alaska – Click here to view our recent RFP for community grants (funds local social norms change efforts and development of local coalitions) plus the appendices. We expect to post an RFP in the next few weeks for administrative support for our statewide coalition, and also one for technical assistance to health care center grantees pursuing health systems changes that support cessation. They will be posted on our public notice site: http://www.hss.state.ak.us/publicnotice/. We also have a number of old RFPs for various items that can found by searching under archived RFPs here: http://notes4.state.ak.us/pn.

  3. California – California has many archived RFPs that pertain to all of these topics available online at our website: http://www.dhs.ca.gov/tobacco/html/archive.htm#rfa
    These documents are public and can be downloaded and adapted for use by others.

  4. Louisiana (Foundation) - Our recent RFA for our Community Program Grants can be found on our website, www.tobaccofreeliving.org A required activity in this RFA is youth prevention programming. We asked organizations to choose from one of three Evidence-Based Interventions (EBIs) focusing on youth.

  5. Indiana (Foundation) – Here is the RFP we use for our local grant process. This past grant cycle we divided this into two parts. Part one was designed to determine the capacity of the local organization to do tobacco control work. Part two was their actual workplan development.

  6. Nebraska - Here are RFPs we've used for a statewide youth advocacy/empowerment movement and for our local programs/coalition groups.

  7. New Hampshire – Click here to view the Quitlines RFP released by NH Division of Public Health Services, Tobacco Prevention and Control Program. Click here to view a more recent RFP written to fund community coalitions to further TPC initiatives at the grass roots level. Please share this with the group.     Inadequately addresses requirements-

    Fails to address most or all requirements in a section, or answers are inadequate, or answers are irrelevant to what is requested.
