We expect to post an RFP in the next few weeks for administrative
support for our statewide coalition, and also one for technical
assistance to health care center grantees pursuing health
systems changes that support cessation. They will be posted
on our public notice site: http://www.hss.state.ak.us/publicnotice/.
We also have a number of old RFPs for various items that
can found by searching under archived RFPs here: http://notes4.state.ak.us/pn.
- California – California has many
archived RFPs that pertain to all of these topics available
online at our website: http://www.dhs.ca.gov/tobacco/html/archive.htm#rfa
These documents are public and can be downloaded and adapted
for use by others.
- Louisiana (Foundation) - Our recent
RFA for our Community Program Grants can be found on our
website, www.tobaccofreeliving.org
A required activity in this RFA is youth prevention programming.
We asked organizations to choose from one of three Evidence-Based
Interventions (EBIs) focusing on youth.
- Indiana (Foundation) – Here is
the RFP we use for our local grant process. This past grant
cycle we divided this into two parts. Part
one was designed to determine the capacity of the local
organization to do tobacco control work. Part
two was their actual workplan development.
- Nebraska - Here are RFPs we've used
for a statewide
youth advocacy/empowerment movement and for our local
programs/coalition groups.
