A:
- Alaska:
All RFPs that the State of Alaska solicits are public information
and are available on line by going to the public notices
and legal bids button on the state web page, www.state.ak.us.
Current solicitations can be found by conducting a standard
search and expired solicitations can be found by conducting
an archive search. Searches can be done by key word and
by date.
The State of Alaska has solicited for TA in three areas
through three contracts. One contract covers TA to large
health care centers for the 5 As, one contract provides
TA to communities working in the area of prevention, and
one contract provides TA to communities working on clean
indoor air.
- California:
Statewide surveillance in California is achieved through
an Interagency Agreement with the University of California.
However, we do bid out the evaluation of the school-based
tobacco control program. We also put out bids for both Public
Relations and Advertising. Finally, we have an Interagency
Agreement with the University of California to operate our
California Smokers Helpline, and we do not have a separate
procurement for cessation TA. Click here
